I thought I would stay with an adsense theme this week. Do you have adsense on your craft site? Should you? Well that probably depends on your traffic.
So how is your traffic? On a webmaster forum I visit regularly a person posted that he gets over 800 hits a day and doesn't have any advertising on his site. Everyone jumped all over his case to get ads up asap.
A general rule of thumb is if you get 100 or more unique visitors per day, you could be making money from your site.
Adsense from Google is a great way to get started. It is very easy to set up and you don't have to choose what ads will show. Google places ads that are relevant to the topic of your site. If you have a Blogger blog, it is super easy to start. There is a page element specifically for Adsense and you can even color coordinate with your blog's template.
Take the time to read the Adsense terms of service and program policy. Also be sure to read up on ad placement to get the most from them.
